TARGETED
QUESTIONING
Improving Student Reading Comprehension
"The most powerful component of guided reading is the interaction between the teacher and the reader. And the responses you evoke from the reader are only as good as what you say to elicit those responses."
Jan Richardson (2016)
PURPOSE STATEMENT
The purpose of my study was to determine if the use of targeted questions during guided reading would increase student achievement in reading comprehension.
